I LOVE this venue! It is such a great blend of classic country manor house and relaxed and rustic barn. It ticks so many boxes and is a great option for couples who are struggling to pick between a barn and mansion! Family run Pennard House is an elegant Grade II listed mansion in Shepton Mallet. The main building has a number of beautiful bedrooms and large comfortable reception rooms, perfect for getting ready and a relaxed get together the night before your celebrations. It is also a special backdrop for your ceremony on the lawns and reception drinks on the terrace and in the immaculate gardens. The converted coachouse, just a few steps from the main house, is a great rustic space for your wedding breakfast with exposed beams and it looks fantastic set out with long trestle tables. There are loads of fab spaces to explore in the grounds, with manicured lawns, tipis, freshwater swimming lake and open fields.
